Update on U.S. Shipments

We’re happy to share that shipments to the United States have now resumed!

However, due to recent changes in U.S. import policy, tarrifs need to be prepaid before shipping. A 38% tariff now applies to all shipments entering the U.S. This will appear as a shipping fee during checkout. We do however not charge any actual shipping for orders to the US.

Refunds, Duties, and Taxes (for U.S. Orders)

We ship all U.S. orders DDP – Delivered Duty Paid.

That means you’ll see the full cost of your order at checkout—including any duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees—so there are no surprises on delivery.

If you cancel before shipment:

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can issue a full refund, including any prepaid duties and taxes.

Once canceled, your payment will be reversed through the same method you used at checkout.

If your order has already shipped:

Once an order crosses the border, Zonos (our cross-border partner) remits the prepaid duties and taxes directly to U.S. Customs. Because those funds have already been paid to the government, they can’t be refunded even if the order is returned or refused at delivery.

We’ll gladly refund the product price once the item is received back in original condition, but the duties, taxes, and clearance fees are non-refundable.

Pricing & Currency Notes

All prices listed on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
If you’re ordering from the United States, your credit card will automatically handle the conversion to U.S. dollars at the current daily exchange rate.

In most cases, you’ll see your final charge appear in USD on your statement — typically around 30% less than the displayed Canadian price, depending on the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

What Happened Earlier This Year

Back on August 29, 2025, we had to pause all U.S. shipments after the U.S. government removed the de minimis exemption on imported goods.

This exemption previously allowed lower-value goods to enter the U.S. without duties or heavy customs processing. Once it was removed, every shipment—no matter how small—became subject to extra fees, paperwork, and unpredictable delays.

At that time, most carriers temporarily stopped accepting small-parcel shipments to the U.S. while new systems were being developed to manage these requirements.

Moving Forward

With new processes now in place, we’re thrilled to resume shipping to our U.S. customers again.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding over the past few months — and we’re grateful for your continued support of our small Canadian business. 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
